Darwin opens!
We are pleased to announce we have opened our doors in Darwin. Jo Fox, well known to the nursing and education fraternity throughout Australia will be heading up the Top End operations. Keep a look out in the paper for contact details or email directorte@hengeeducation.com.au. Jo will be offerring the same courses as are available in Alice Springs.
Pathways to nursing
Henge Education aims to provide people living in regional areas with an accessible pathway to nursing. As such we currently deliver the Certificate 3, Certificate 4 and Diploma of Nursing. We are currently negotiating with a university to enable students to build on their Diploma and undertake an 18 month program to achieve a Bachelor of Nursing - without leaving home! We are ensuring the Bachelor program builds on the 'bush ready' aspects of our current courses. Watch this space.
Enrolled Nurse Upskilling program
We are able to offer an upskill program for enrolled nurses (must have an Annual Practicing Certificate) to upgrade their existing qualification to the new Diploma course Please contact us for more details.
Productivity funding
Henge is now eligible to recieve funding from the government to train people if they are unemployed, or employed. Check with Centrelink for your eligibility for FREE training.
